Archive files imported or exported via gateways or CDSs are unpacked in order to undergo content filtering checks.

Miscellaneous changes were made to rationale and recommendations throughout the publication to clarify content without changing intent. This included a review from the Guidelines for System Hardening chapter through to the Guidelines for Data Transfers chapter.

Agencies should extract the contents from archive/container files and subject the extractedfiles to content filter tests.
