Database servers for development, testing, staging and production environments are segregated.

The existing control recommending that development and testing environments do not use the same database servers as production environments was amended to include staging environments.

Miscellaneous changes were made to rationale and recommendations throughout the publication to clarify content without changing intent. This included a review from the Guidelines for System Hardening chapter through to the Guidelines for Data Transfers chapter.
