Mobile Device Management solutions that have completed a Common Criteria evaluation against the Protection Profile for Mobile Device Management, version 4.0 or later, are used to enforce mobile device management policy.

The existing control relating to Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions being used to enforce mobile device management policy was amended to ensure that such MDM solutions have completed a Common Criteria evaluation against the Protection Profile for Mobile Device Management, version 4.0 or later.

Agencies should use a Mobile Device Management solution to ensure their mobile devicepolicy is applied to all mobile devices that are used with their systems.
