System administrators for gateways are formally trained on the operation and management of gateways.

Miscellaneous changes were made to rationale and recommendations throughout the publication to clarify content without changing intent. This included a review from the Guidelines for System Hardening chapter through to the Guidelines for Data Transfers chapter.

Agencies must ensure that system administrators are formally trained to manage gateways.

2010

Agencies must ensure that system administrators are fully trained to manage gateways by qualified trainers.

Agencies must ensure that administrators are fully trained to manage the CDS.
